It is possible that the same card was sold in different markets with different names, that perhaps the cards were sold with one name for a while and later it was changed or it's possible they could even be slightly different cards.

Even after updating manually the full update window STILL can't find a supported product, so I don't have whatever else is in the package, but at least I have the latest Creative driver installed.

And, guess what, it doesn't work. For a complete listing of downloads, you can manually search our database. You can always disable it if it causes problems. As of 24 Jan 06 Creative released a driver that DOES work, however it does not come with any of the creative software that really makes the sound card worth having.

Double-click the Sound, video and game controllers option. Audio device driver files are not removed completely when uninstalling from Windows Device Manager.
