You can't post answers that contain an email address. The DWL-G is supposed to have the Prism54 chipset, but there is no interface that I can figure out to use with the driver from binaervarianz.

I almost went with the DWL-G and your hints but it looked a little too iffy for the non-technical users who would be using the iMac. Since you've already submitted a review for this product, this submission will be added as an update to your original review. When I get home I will definitely try the Rad driver's mentioned above and pray.

The Mac you just used to update these settings won't be able to reconnect -- unless you already had a letter password! I tried it twice and gave up. I should have read all the comments!

Is the system meant to be connected to the ethernet cable the whole time? There are testimonials to the DWL-G at Amazon and numerous dongles for sale on ebay and a real need to sort out what works and what doesn't.

The dongle will not start up initially until you set your network up in the preference pane. The device will show up in Network Prefs as an ethernet connection but there will be no signal or lights on from the device.
